Teach learners across Tawau, the Sabah east-coast trading town that looks out to Semporna and the Kalimantan ferry routes. Your students sit in classrooms at SMK Kuhara, SMK Kabota and SMK St. Patrick, at Sabah Chinese High School where UEC runs alongside SPM, at MRSM Tun Mustapha on Jalan Apas, and at Kolej Tingkatan Enam Tawau for STPM.
Primary pupils at SJK(C) Yuk Chin, SJK(C) Kuok Ming and SK Bandar I book Mathematics, English and Bahasa Cina. Lessons take place in Fajar, Sabindo, Tawau Lama, Kuhara, Kabota and Titingan, with the Balung campuses further out along Jalan Apas. Weekday sessions start once afternoon school ends, because SMK Kuhara runs two sessions and timetables vary by stream.
Saturdays carry the longer revision blocks. The heaviest weeks fall before SPM trial papers and in the run-up to the STPM semester exams, when Form 5 and Form 6 learners add a second weekly slot. Your first month usually means settling into a fixed weekly slot with each learner, mapping the syllabus up to the next school test, and working through past papers together.
Tutors who teach in Mandarin cover SJK(C) and UEC learners, while tutors who teach science in Bahasa Melayu serve SMK and MRSM students. Diploma and MUET learners from UiTM Kampus Tawau, Politeknik Tawau and IPG Kampus Tawau round out the evening timetable.
