The role

What you will do

  • Plan and deliver 1-to-1 or small-group Mathematics lessons aligned to the KPM syllabus (KSSR Tahun 1-6 and KSSM Tingkatan 1-5).
  • Diagnose each student's conceptual gaps in number, algebra, geometry and statistics, and build a focused, measurable learning plan.
  • Drill exam technique for PT3, SPM Matematik (1449), STPM Mathematics M/T, IB Maths AA/AI and IGCSE Maths, with KBAT higher-order thinking practice.
  • Set and mark practice papers, model answers and past-year LPM questions, and give clear written feedback.
  • Share regular, honest progress updates with parents after each topic or assessment.

Who we are looking for

  • A relevant degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Sciences or Education.
  • IPG-trained tutors and ex-KPM teachers are strongly preferred.
  • Solid familiarity with the latest KPM Mathematics syllabus and SPM/STPM formats, plus IB Maths AA/AI or IGCSE Maths where relevant.
  • Confident with problem-solving heuristics and KBAT (higher-order thinking) question design.
  • At least 1 year of tutoring or classroom teaching experience.
  • Based in Malaysia and eligible to work here, reliable and genuinely good with students.
Pay

Pay range

RM50 – RM150 per hour

Actual rate depends on level taught, your qualifications and experience (IPG-trained / ex-KPM teacher / graduate), and lesson format. Higher levels (STPM / IB / A-Level) sit at the upper end of the range.
